The Writing Centre offers advice and guidance on:

  • academic writing - from planning an assignment to the finishing touches
  • critical thinking and analysis skills
  • developing effective study habits
  • effective communication

We also work with our friends in the Academic Skills Community to help you develop the key study skills you need to succeed.

Covid-19 Secure

Academic skills support is available online, including 1:1 appointments, workshops and online resources you can use at any time.

Some support is also available on-campus, in line with government guidelines (subject to change). Respect the community by abiding by distancing arrangements, sanitising protocols and face covering requirements.
