Apply through Clearing

We'll use your details to advise on whether we can offer you a place on your chosen course. You'll then be able to refer yourself to the University of York on UCAS to complete your application.

This application form will close at 3pm BST on 24 July. Clearing applications will re-open at 8am BST on 13 August. 

Applicants must complete the form using their own details; we can’t offer places via a parent or supporter.

To be eligible for Clearing, you must have:

  • completed your academic qualifications and received your results - including any English Language results if required.
  • a valid UCAS Personal ID. If you haven’t yet applied through UCAS, you can do so through the UCAS Hub (ucas.com).
  • no offers through UCAS from any other UK university. If you have any offers but no longer want to accept them, you can still apply for Clearing by declining your offer(s) (ucas.com).
