One Planet Week is back from 14 to 20 February 2022.

With a packed list of events, workshops, lectures and hands-on activities across the week, there’s plenty to get involved with supporting this year’s theme: ‘Equity and the Local Economy’.
Whether you’re interested in finding out how you can take action on climate change, ways to save money your energy bill, or following along in an online cooking demo, there’s a variety of events to get involved with this One Planet Week, including but not limited to:
- Open lectures and panels on topics such as imagining a workplace without bosses, how our campus encourages biodiversity, and how to calculate your own water footprint,
- Interactive activities and workshops to learn how to upcycle your plastic and glass bottles, crowdsource your own business and save money on your energy bills,
- An open forum with the Vice-Chancellor, Head of YUSU and more to share your thoughts on sustainability here at the University,
- And more!
You can find the full list of events on the One Planet Week webpages.
