Apprenticeship levy: Eligibility

Your eligibility replies upon:

• having the support of your manager and their approval from senior leadership
• selecting an apprenticeship standard that is directly relevant to your existing role
• not already possessing a qualification in the same subject as the apprenticeship at the same or a higher level
• spending at least 50% of your working hours in England over the duration of the apprenticeship
• being employed with a contract of employment that covers the length of your programme (including the end-point assessment)
• possessing or being willing to obtain (with the training provider) Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English if aged 16-18 or English and / or Maths is a requirement of the apprenticeship standard.
