What is Rewards Extra?

Rewards Extra is the employee benefits package available to all UoY employees. It includes savings on things such as transport, dental and health cover as well as salary-linked savings and loans. Staff can also access shopping discounts with hundreds of retailers.

Annual Renewal

This year's annual renewal window will run from 1 September to 30 September 2026. It's a good time to review your existing selections in light of new policy rates, and make any new selections for the 2026/27 benefit year. If you have existing cover through Rewards Extra, you’ll receive direct communication about new policy rates by the end of the first week in September.

Please note, some of the insured benefits can only be selected during September because of their in-year selection rules, so we encourage staff to take this opportunity to review what's on offer.

(Don't worry, the rest of the benefits, and all the discounts, are available to select all year round).
