With over £8 million of capital equipment, 2000m2 of laboratories and 19 expert staff, this purpose-built centre of excellence provides access to state-of-the-art bioscience technologies for external academic laboratories and commercial business users. 

Located within the Department of Biology, the Bioscience Technology Facility also provides an additional conduit into the wider expertise within the Department.

The Bioscience Technology Facility offers an efficient and cost-effective way to undertake analytical work with the majority of instruments available for external use following an initial training period. If required, the facility's expert team will undertake the work on your behalf. Such work could include:
