Event details

More than 70 per cent of our planet is covered by water. Learn how the ocean and the air immediately above it interact and how this affects our planetary climate.

Liselotte Tinel of the Wolfson Atmospheric Chemistry Laboratories (WACL) will explain how York researchers are investigating the role played by the microlayer – a thin layer at the very top of the ocean – in the global climate. Could this thin layer be having a big effect on ozone levels over water?
