Rooted in the heart and history of nursing is the desire to develop knowledge, skills and systems to improve health and well-being. Today, nurses undertake health research in a variety of settings including universities, hospitals, GP practices and health centres.
Sara Ma, a Nursing Clinical Doctoral Fellow, introduces her research into Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Find out how Sara is working with patients, families and health professionals to try and find ways to improve clinical care pathways.
