The Department of Mathematics seeks to appoint two or more visiting Research Fellows for a period of no longer than 6 months to help support and enhance our research in Mathematical Finance, Econometrics and related subjects. You will propose and work on a research project under the oversight of one of our members of academic staff, and will supervise 6-8 MSc student dissertations on our Mathematical Finance or Financial Engineering degree programme.
•To propose a research project in association with a member of the Department’s academic staff, conduct research on this project, and contribute to the production of research and the departmental research environment
•To supervise 6-8 MSc dissertations under the oversight of a member of the Department’s academic staff
•To assist in the identification and development of potential areas of research and the development of proposals for independent or collaborative research projects
