Placements in industry
All of our undergraduate degrees have an optional year in industry, and opportunities for shorter placements too.
A placement lets you apply your learning in the real world. It can give you important skills such as time-management, teamwork, IT and communicating with colleagues.
All of the placements we advertise are paid. This shows the calibre of company we attract and the high regard they hold for our students. The average salary for placements in 2019/20 was £17,000, ranging from £14,800 to £21,500.
