A development in an area of law that particularly interests you; OR
Challenges currently affecting law students, such as those raised by the cost of living crisis; OR
A reading or case in any course's syllabus that particularly resonates with you; OR
A movie or book review with a focus on a legal analysis of the issues
The authors of the winning entries, at least one of which will be selected from the YLS undergraduate cohort and one from the YLS postgraduate cohort, will be notified before 12th January and they will be invited to send in their full drafts (2500- 3000 words) by 12th February. Subject to editorial review, the articles will be published in Volume 4 of the York Law Review and the winning authors will each be awarded a cash prize of £50 upon publication!
