Applying to York Law School

Undergraduate applications

We welcome applications from students of all backgrounds, and we welcome visits and questions from all interested candidates. As our LLB is very distinctive, there are certain skills we look for in applicants, and you will want to make sure that an active learning course is right for you.

We encourage applicants to ask questions of staff and students at open days and interview days, or to get in touch with the admissions tutor.

Our course pages provide more information about course content, entry requirements, applying and the interview.

Applicants are required to complete a ‘self-assessment’ tool to check suitability for our style of learning. Applicants who would normally be invited to interview will, instead, be given access to this process.
