Our research builds on a rich tradition of strong, impactful interdisciplinary work, and aims to reshape agendas on key social challenges.

Our work is marked by a strong sense of intellectual community and a commitment to nurturing and developing outstanding legal minds.

Through our Baroness Hale Legal Clinic, we provide free legal advice and guidance to members of the public on real and current encounters.

York Law Society also offers students further opportunities to develop their skills and get involved in various networking opportunities.
