The current connections will be retired in favour of PaperCut Print Deploy, Mobility Print and AirPrint methods.
This change is being carried out to make the printing system more robust, flexible and secure. The change also allows users to print from off campus via the VPN, helping to support hybrid working.

If you have already followed these instructions then you do not need to do anything. You will see some changes to the interface when you print, and may need to update your settings depending on your device type, see below:
When you print, you will be prompted to sign into our print deploy app. If you don't see this you will need to install the PaperCut Deploy Client from the Software Center.
To add the new PrintCloud queue, follow our PrintCloud: Set up guide for Windows 10 The new queue will display as PrintCloud [University of York][Mobility]
IT Services will update the printer settings on managed Mac devices. On your first print job, you may be prompted for your username (eg abc500) and password.

We now support direct printing from unmanaged Windows, Mac, iPhones and iPads, Linux, Android and Chromebooks. Please follow the appropriate set up guide:
