Throughout your degree, you’ll have the opportunity to hone your practical skills in our Clinical Simulation Unit (CSU), and in real-life nursing and midwifery settings during your placements.
Our CSU is purpose-built to replicate the different clinical and hospital environments in which nurses and midwives operate. It's equipped with two hospital bays, each with four beds, an intensive care unit and a bedsit.
It's a safe and supportive learning environment where you’ll use nursing — and midwifery-specific equipment under the supervision of experienced academics. By working in our CSU, you’ll gain the confidence and practical nursing and midwifery skills you need when you enter the workplace.
