Partnerships and engagement
We work in partnership with service users, carers, and practice partners to enrich education and support high-quality practice learning. Through collaboration, we ensure that teaching, learning, and placement experiences are informed by real-world insight and aligned with professional standards.
SUCI Partnership brings together people with lived experience of health and social care to support the education of nurses, midwives and other professionals. Aligned with Nursing and Midwifery Council requirements, it promotes inclusive 'expert by experience' involvement in teaching, learning and programme development across Health Sciences.
The Practice Learning Team partners with healthcare providers to support students' practice education. We manage placement allocations, offer guidance on learning concerns, and provide support for supervision and assessment.
