During 2020/21, our Access and Outreach programmes will be delivered virtually with some face-to-face events. We will be guided by government guidelines and University policy. We will work directly with programme participants and our school and college partners to keep you informed of progress.
To support you in this uncertain time we are working to develop a range of alternative online resources. These will be designed to give students a taste of higher education learning and help them prepare for university. Stay tuned to the schools and colleges webpages for the latest announcements.

Want to find out more about higher education? You’re in the right place
An online programme for Year 7 to 11 pupils to explore their aspirations and support their journey towards higher education. Every Tuesday the Pre-16 Hub will be updated with new student blogs and articles as well as interactive tasks. You’ll be able to ask questions, share your thoughts and be in with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes.

Brought to you by the Physics Outreach team in collaboration with the Departments of Chemistry and Biology, these resources have been selected to keep children interested and learning about science.
A short, interactive higher education experience designed by our academics.
From archaeology to psychology, art history to engineering, our online short courses take place over three to four weeks and are open to everyone, regardless of background or location.
