Where to go for

Laundry
Wentworth launderette is in the Nucleus Building, opposite B Block Accommodation. You’ll need your room key to gain access.
Maintenance
If there’s a problem with your room that requires cleaning or maintenance, here’s how to let us know, so that we can fix it for you.

Mail

Small post is delivered to your flat mailbox which is located at the entrance to your accommodation block.  The key is hung in your kitchen and shared by all the residents in your flat.

Large parcels and signed-for items are sent to your nearest reception desk. You’ll be emailed when it’s ready for collection. To collect, you’ll need your university ID card.

Accommodation

Around 500 resident students live at Wentworth in our ensuite and studio accommodation. For accommodation enquiries, please contact the Accommodation Team at accommodation@york.ac.uk.

Wentworth accommodation

How your room code works.

  • The letters at the start tell you which building the room is in.
  • The next letter is your block/court.
  • The number is your room number
  • The first digit of your room number is your floor: (0 is Ground Floor, 1 is First Floor etc.)

For example: ‘ W/B1/004’ is Wentworth Graduate College, Block B1, Ground Floor, Room number 004.
