Bettys & Taylors Group is a century old family business, famous for its brands: Yorkshire Tea, Taylors of Harrogate Coffee and Bettys Café Tearooms.

Paul Cogan (Co-CEO) will share insights into the history of the business, the critical role of the Group’s values the “six p’s” and the benefits and challenges of being a purpose led organisation. Paul is a member of a peer-based leadership team, the Collaborative CEO, and he will provide his thoughts on this innovative model of leadership and the role that it is taking in shaping the future strategy of the Group.

About the speaker

Paul Cogan

Paul is a member of the Bettys & Taylors Group Board and one of four directors who form the Collaborative CEO – a structure based on shared responsibility for organisational strategy and development, and the operations of the Bettys and Taylors businesses. Within this leadership structure, Paul leads on key areas related to the purpose of the Group, including Sustainability, Community and Delighting Customers.

Paul joined Bettys & Taylors in 2012 as Group Finance & Resources Director and retains responsibility for all aspects of Group finance and governance, as well as IT, property, procurement and risk management. He also oversees Bettys & Taylors business transformation projects, which focus on the sustainable, long-term growth of the Group.
