Event details

You are invited to attend the CIPD mock tribunal event to find out how the employment tribunal works in practice and to see it in action!

The evening will start with a talk by employment solicitors, Marie Horner and Marie Walsh, from law firms, ALT Legal and Consilia Legal. They will give you a light-hearted insight into how to prepare for the day of the hearing, what the order of events might be when you get there and, crucially, how to address the judge!

The evening will then move to a live mock tribunal with barristers from St Philips Chambers playing the roles of, well, the barristers(!) along with various other willing volunteers playing witnesses for both sides.

This event has historically always been extremely popular, but this year, as it’s the first one that has been run since pre-Covid times, we anticipate high demand for places, so please book your place via the link above.

Catering and refreshments will be provided.
