The Launch of the British Egyptian Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Technology for Cultural Heritage took place in Cairo, with the official representation of the British Council, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The inaugural ArchiFUTURES PhD Research Conference 2026 created the first student-led platform for doctoral researchers to share emerging work and build research networks in architecture and related disciplines.
