York Undergraduate Attends Highly Prestigious Training Hosted by British School at Rome

Congratulations to James Roswell for winning a place on the Undergraduate Ancient Rome Summer School with the British School at Rome this September. Applications include an essay on any topic on Ancient Rome. Places are highly sought after, so well done on securing a place, James!

25 students studying at UK universities spend 12 intensive days visiting Rome’s incredible Archaeological sites, guided by experts from the British School at Rome.

James says:

"This summer I was fortunate enough to participate in the summer school with British School at Rome. It was incredible to spend two weeks in the magnificence of Rome, visiting the prominent and lesser known archaeological sites of the city. Not only were the lectures and visits extremely interesting and fun but experiencing all the city had to offer in our spare time with other classically enthused students was great fun. I highly recommend other students attending this course."
