Department of Archaeology receives Bronze Athena SWAN award

The award recognises advancement of gender equality, representation, progression and success for all

The Department of Archaeology has received a Bronze Athena SWAN award from the Equality Charter Unit. This recognises the department's efforts to create equality of opportunity for staff and students of all genders.
 
Dr Stephanie Wynne-Jones, departmental Athena SWAN Chair, says: "We are delighted to receive this award, which will be formally presented on 10 December 2018. It recognises work to which the department is deeply committed, and we hope it also shows others how seriously we take this commitment."
