Drop-in sessions

Choose a slot between 10:30 - 4pm to drop in your bike for a free basic service check and we'll let you know when to come back for it. You can also pay for additional parts or repairs at a discounted price.

If your bike requires major work (e.g. parts or repairs you are paying for) you may be asked to come back for it at some point during the same week you dropped it off. The Bike Doctor will try his best to have it completed the same day, but sometimes this isn't always possible.

Workshops

At these two-hour-long workshops you will need to bring your bike so you can work on repairing it with the Bike Doctor's help. He will demonstrate the repair on his own bike so you can carry out the work on your bike. This gives you hands-on-experience in fixing your bike with an expert's guidance.

There's just five spaces available at each workshop due to the number of repair stands we have available. If you would like the Bike Doctor to run a free basic service check on your bike, or repair it for a discounted price, please book a drop-in session instead.

Maintenance sessions

At these sessions the Bike Doctor will demonstrate repairs on his bike which staff and students can take notes from and learn through observation. Participants are encouraged to ask questions to get the most out of the session. If you would like to be shown a particular repair or ask a specific question, you're welcome to do this on the day, or via the booking form.

You do not need your bike for this session. If you would like the Bike Doctor to run a free basic service check on your bike, or repair it for a discounted price, please book a drop-in session instead.
