Bringing together researchers and practitioners to create the safest next-generation autonomous robots.

YorRobots is an institution-wide initiative, associated with the Institute for Safe Autonomy (Design and Verification Pillar), bringing together researchers and practitioners with an interest in robotics and autonomous systems, and their applications.

Our goal is to maximise the impact of robotics expertise at York to the benefit of the UK industry. YorRobots will promote and facilitate research in the development of advanced, ethical, safe, trusted, reliable, and certifiable mobile and autonomous robots.

The team is comprised of

Chair of the executive committee: Ana Cavalcanti
Networking officer: Alvaro Miyazawa
Seminar organiser: Jihong Zhu
Publicity officers: Colin Roitt and Edgar Buchanan
