Our first YESI ECR session this semester aims to better prepare early-career researchers (ECRs, broadly defined from PhDs to lecturers) for reviewing grants in the interdisciplinary environmental sustainability space.
We offer this session since we recognise that there is rarely systematic preparation before individuals are asked to peer-review grant proposals, whether internally or as part of external panels.
We will first hear insights from internal demand management from Robyn Cooper Inglis, Research Development Manager, and from Oliver Andrews (DEG), Kelly Redeker (Biol) and Judith Krauss (Pol) about submitting to and serving on UK or international grant panels.
Finally, together we will review anonymised past applications for YESI Fellowships as if you were a panel member. As ever, there will be plenty of opportunity for questions!
