Campus and the city

It’s quick and easy to travel between campus and the city centre by bus, using the following bus services:

  • 66x: morning express from York train station direct to the University avoiding the city centre. It runs three times at 7.30am, 8am and 8.20am Monday to Friday in term time.
  • 66: this service leaves from stop ‘RJ’ across the road from the train station. This bus takes you from Heslington Hall to Campus East via field lane but doesn’t stop at York Sport Village.
  • 66a: like the 66, once on campus this service travels to Campus East via Field Lane, and then continues onto York Sport Village.
  • N66: this is the night bus service from the city to campus.
