Campus stores raise over £17,000 for local charities

Our on-campus retail stores have now donated more than £17,000 to local charities across York – all thanks to your everyday shopping.

Funds are raised through the Making a Difference Locally (MADL) scheme, run by Nisa.

Every time you pick up selected products in store - including Co-op own-brand and Nisa Heritage items - a contribution goes towards local good causes.

In the past four months, teams at Market Square Store and Nisa Kimberlow have raised and donated over £2,000 to charity organisations: The Hygiene Bank, MySight York, IDAS and Treasure Chest.

These join other similar charities, schools and community groups across the city that have benefited from this scheme.

Your everyday shopping helps support everything from tackling hygiene poverty, to funding activities for people with sight loss, to supporting children and families in York.

Thanks for helping us make a difference locally.
