The York Unlimited Giving Day is back!

Posted on 5 October 2021

The third York Unlimited Giving Day will continue making the difference that you helped to support in 2019 and 2020, funding life-changing, world-changing initiatives at York. Find out how you can get involved.

Giving Day is part of our York Unlimited fundraising campaign and takes place on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 November when we’ll be asking staff, students, alumni, businesses and the community to rally around students and mental health causes at York.

Every penny counts, and all donations are welcome, but there are lots of ways that you can get involved and help us to make a success of this event.

Our causes

The York Unlimited Giving Day will fundraise for five important funds that tackle four timely causes at York.

Human rights

Equal Access Scholarships offer students seeking asylum in the UK the chance to access university despite the massive obstacles in their way.

Mental health

Mentally Fit York supports on-the-ground initiatives and groundbreaking research into mental health at York to transform mental health on local, national and international scales.

Student scholarships

The York Opportunity Scholarship and the York Futures Scholarship help York students thrive regardless of their socio-economic circumstances.

Student clubs and societies

YuFund is supporting projects to enhance the student experience at a time when it is being changed beyond recognition.

How you can help

Right now, you can get involved in three ways:

Your support in the run up to Giving Day, as well as on the day itself, is vital in helping us achieve some incredible things for our students and for the wider community. Please help us today, and join us as we countdown to 3 and 4 November!
