HoD and Departmental Promotion Group (DPG) guidance
All applications in this process are supported by a Departmental Assessment (Google Doc), which collates feedback from both the Departmental Promotions Group (DPG) and the Head of Department/School.
The Head of Department (HoD) is responsible for ensuring that their department/school has a DPG in operation, in line with the Terms of Reference (Google Doc). The HoD also has oversight of the completion of the Departmental Assessment for each applicant, with support from the DPG.
All DPGs should complete a copy of the DPG guidelines (Google Doc) and publish them where all departmental staff can access, to ensure transparency of the group's operations.
