ETL at Transdisciplinary Engineering 2024

This year, the theme of the conference was 'engineering for social change. It featured talks from diverse academic disciplines that explored the ways in which engineering plays a direct and indirect role in shaping the lives of everyone in all societies.

Our talk and the associated paper, focussed on our work developing a water quality monitoring technology for use by remote communities in Vanuatu which revealed how adopting a transdisciplinary approach to engineering can result in socio-technical solutions that respond to the needs and context of technology end-users.
