York science in the forefront of teaching

The Guide focuses exclusively on teaching and is aimed at a prospective student audience. Other departments that performed well included Economics, Educational Studies and Psychology, all being ranked second in their tables.The University came 6th for overall teaching in the Guide. The top ten are as follows:
