Professional bodies are thriving, they have changed in response to various challenges. Changes in governance, staffing, strategies, and education policies have been implemented, but not without some resistance. Andrew will present the Professional Associations Research Network (PARN) and its information base. He will provide evidence of how professional bodies continue to flourish and the many changes that have taken place.
Andrew Friedman
Andrew Friedman is Professor Emeritus of Management and Economics in the School of Management at the University of Bristol and CEO of Professional Associations Research Network (PARN). He has published widely on issues concerning management, the professions, stakeholding, the labour process and information systems.
