The circular economy has gained rapid traction with many thought leaders positioning it as the most dominating trend, biggest revolution and most significant opportunity for how we organise production and consumption in our global economy in 250 years. This masterclass will use case studies to demonstrate how organisations are creating new value from Circular Process and Product Innovation and Circular Business Models. It will also highlight some of the challenges to implementation.

This masterclass series on Circular Economy is a collaboration between the University of York Management School and the York & North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership.

Fiona Charnley, UKRI National Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Hub

Fiona Charnley is Associate Professor of Circular Economy and Co-Director of the Exeter Centre for Circular Economy in the University of Exeter Business School. Fiona works within the field of design, innovation and manufacture for a circular economy. She is Co-Director of the National Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Hub harnessing the UK’s leading research capabilities to create new knowledge, tools, behaviours and value.
