This masterclass will specifically focus on health-related fake news as it is topical amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis. It will offer insights into how society can tackle the menace.

Dr Snehasish Banerjee

Dr Snehasish Banerjee's research interest lies at the intersection of technology and human behaviour. His research has covered the risks of fake news and fake reviews on social media. He is looking to expand the contextual focus to include risks associated with disruptions such as robots.

Snehasish has published more than 25 journal articles including outlets such as Computers in Human Behavior, Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, and Tourism Management.
