The York Politics Society is delighted to host Baroness Hale, the former President of the Supreme Court. Baroness Hale has had a distinguished career in courts, starting in the family division of the High Court of Justice and then working her way up, breaking boundaries, being the first female law lord, first woman to serve on the new Supreme Court and then first woman to be President of the Supreme Court.
