York Society of Engineers Lecture

The talk will cover the history of the Tom Pudding system, its preservation and connections with Royalty.

It will include hopefully some DVD footage of the tugs and a song or two about the life of a tug-man.

It will also include details of the Yorkshire Waterways Heritage Society plans to save a historic tug for Goole and ensure the preservation and development of archives on the local waterways.
