Global Health Histories Seminar 142
In developing countries, traditional and complementary medicine for primary health care has long played an important role. However, complementary and alternative medicine (including Reiki, Bach Remedies, sound healing, chiropractic, and reflexology) are also now on the rise in the WHO European Region. What is the history, and what are the implications of the increasing popularity of these therapies in regions traditionally seen as dominated by biomedicine?
This will be live-streamed and you can follow it here.
