Event details

The University of York is delighted to announce a Cancer Research Showcase, taking place on Thursday 5 November.

This event will bring together colleagues from across the University to celebrate the breadth and quality of cancer research at York.

Held at the Ron Cooke Hub, Heslington East, the day will feature research talks from our early career researchers, a public and patient-facing showcase session, PhD poster displays, and opportunities for delegates to connect with colleagues and explore new collaborations.

The day will be split into two parts:

Cancer Research at York session (from 9.00): In-depth research talks by early career researchers on tumour biology and treatment response, for a specialist audience including researchers and clinicians.

Cancer Research Showcase session (from 12.30): Join us for lunch, poster exhibition from PhD students, partner stands, and an afternoon of lay talks showcasing how cancer research in York is making a difference for people affected by cancer.

Tickets

You can book your ticket for the whole day (from 9am) or only the Cancer Research Showcase (from 12.30pm, including lunch).
