University of York Psychedelics in Medicine Society Lecture

Callie was diagnosed with epilepsy over 20 years ago, and found great benefit from medicinal cannabis, however with its stigma and low rates of prescriptions in the UK, found great difficulty in treating her disability. She now works alongside Simon Spinks at Aqualabs, a hydroponics company in the UK and is involved in the growth of hydroponic based cannabis plants. She is also heavily involved in campaigning and educating in medical cannabis, working with MedCan Support, PLEA, Drug Science, the Cannabis industry Council and a number of international licensed cannabis cultivation facilities including Pure Isolation, Chilam and Hempire.

Callie and Simon will take us through the history, synthesis, science and importance of medical cannabis in this free, open to the public talk, spreading the important truths behind the plant.
