Event details

York Politics Society event

From the aftermath of the deaths of Mark Duggan to George Floyd, race has become increasingly important in the British consciousness. Join us in looking back on the changing in racial attitudes of Britain in the past few years and how they have impacted our society. Our main speaker will be Dr Rakib Ehsan, a contributor for many of the top newspapers in the country and has published many insightful and intriguing reports for the Henry Jackson Society. He is also a Patron of the Muslims Against Anti-Semitism (MAAS). Hosting the event will be Dr Remi Adekoya, author of 'Biracial Britain: A Different Way of Looking at Race'.

The event is open to members of the public and may be recorded.
