Event details

Economic crises exert significant pressures on a firm’s marketing resources and often trigger substantial cuts in sustainability budgets. It is unclear whether such measures originally intended to help firms survive a crisis may end up hurting the firm’s competitive position. Karolos Papadas will present the impact of investing in green marketing on firms’ competitiveness and resilience in times of deep economic uncertainty*. His work helps us to navigate responsible competitiveness during unpredictable times such as the global pandemic and the persistent challenges of a hotter world.

*a collaboration with University of Athens and Leeds University Business School
