Event details

The 2013 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by all United Nations Member States provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals which are an urgent call for action by all countries in a global partnership. The UN has estimated that $11.5 trillion is required to meet the goals.

  • Can governments and philanthropists alone tackle these challenges?
  • Do business and financial markets have a role to play?
  • Is there an imperative for businesses to respond and do a better job of serving society?
