How you can interact with the Department

We are keen to help our students understand their career possibilities, and often invite alumni back to give careers talks about their own industry and experience.

Second Year students now have the option to transfer to either the BSc or MMath with a Year in Industry programme. After two years of study (three for the MMath), the student takes a year-long industry placement, before returning to complete their studies for one more year. BSc placements need not feature any mathematics, while MMath placements are designed around a project or projects with strong research and development content. We would love to hear from you if you or your company can offer placements for the year.

At graduation, the Department offers prize funds for students who inspire or excel. Could you sponsor a new prize fund? We would be delighted to hear from you if so.
