Are you an employer seeking motivated individuals to enhance your team?

Students from the School for Business and Society can bring new insights and tangible benefits to your organisation.

Our students have been placed with companies such as L'Oreal, Rolls Royce, PwC, Deloitte, EY, Disney, and Goldman Sachs. We greatly value our relationships with employers who have strong local ties, such as Northern Trains, Jacobs, Etas Bosch, the NHS, and Aviva, and we’re also keen to hear from SMEs, non-profit, governmental and charitable organisations.

Why choose a student from the School for Business and Society?

  • Fresh Perspectives: Our students bring innovative thinking and fresh ideas to your workplace. They are eager to learn, adapt, and contribute their unique insights to help your organisation grow.
  • Industry-Ready: Our School provides industry insight alongside theoretical knowledge, ensuring our students are well-prepared for the challenges of work.
  • Expertise: Our students possess specialist knowledge in areas such as financial compliance, auditing, marketing, merchandising, and more, thanks to our range of Business, Management, Finance and Social and Public Policy programmes.
  • Supported by the School: Visiting Placement Supervisors work closely with employers throughout the year, to ensure that both the organisation and the student benefit from the partnership.
  • Positive Impact: Each placement opportunity helps a student to further develop skills and confidence. Your investment helps shape their professional journeys and prepares them for successful careers.
  • Future Talent: Why not trial future talent by taking on a placement student? You may even wish to retain them for a graduate role upon completion of their studies.
