York Law School joins a global network shaping the future of legal education!

We’re excited to announce that York Law School has officially joined the Network for Innovative and Inclusive Legal Education - an international community of universities leading the way in progressive, student-centred learning.

Founded at Hasselt University (Belgium) in 2017, the Network brings together pioneering law schools, including Maastricht University, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and Hasselt University, all united by a shared commitment to Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and inclusive approaches to teaching law.

Joining this network is a proud moment for York Law School and a reflection of our deep commitment to innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity in legal education. Through this partnership, we’ll share best practices, exchange ideas, and continue to prepare our students to navigate and shape the evolving legal world.

We’re looking forward to connecting with our colleagues across Europe and contributing to this vibrant community of educators driving meaningful change in how law is taught and learned.
