Permissions for setting up submissions
Depending on which tool your department uses, Turnitin and Gradescope submission points can be created in Learn VLE.
Gradescope is not enabled for all departments. Learn about the differences between Turnitin and Gradescope.
To set up a submission point, staff need to be enrolled on the Learn VLE site with a role that allows this (eg instructor).
Students can submit files if:
- they are enrolled on a VLE site with a Turnitin or Gradescope submission point and have the ‘Student’ role
- staff have made both the VLE site and submission point ‘available’ to students.
