Posted on 13 October 2022

The IT Support team are working on improving our service as we move further into the new academic year.

Update: Our service is changing from Monday 21 November.

We will continue offering this service until further notice and we will review how well it's working for you and us over the coming weeks.

Any changes to our service will be publicised on our IT Services News page and on our Twitter account (@UoYITServices).

The IT Support team are available by email and phone Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Email us: itsupport@york.ac.uk.

Phone us: +44 (0)1904 323838.

Drop in and see us: We will be offering drop-in IT support Monday to Friday. On most days this will be available 9am - 4pm.

However before you set off, please check our Twitter account (@UoYITServices) as any changes to these hours will be publicised there (eg in the event of staff illness).

  • You will find us on the ground floor of the JB Morrell Library.
  • The drop-in service operates on a first come, first served basis. You may have to queue to speak to us.
  • Please try to have some photo ID with you (eg University ID card, passport, driving licence) in case we need to confirm your identity.
  • For longer queries we might decide that we need to schedule an appointment with you.
