Staff - Enable Google two-factor authentication by 7 December

We originally announced in September that two-factor authentication (2FA) would become mandatory on staff email/Google accounts on Tuesday 23 November. If you have not yet enabled 2FA on your University email/Google account, we are giving you a further two weeks to complete the process.

In the past two years we’ve brought two-factor authentication (2FA) to University systems including the VPN, Virtual Desktop Service, SSH, Student Enquiry Screen and e:Vision. We are now working to add this protection to University Google/email accounts.

A new look for the Duo Mobile app

From Monday 11 October, Version 4.0.0 of the Duo Mobile app will be released on the iOS App Store and the Android Google Play Store.


Making e:vision more secure

Following the successful rollout of Duo two-factor authentication on the VPN, Virtual Desktop, SSH and Student Enquiry Screen (SES) services, we are now working to add this protection to e:vision for current students and staff.
