ArcGIS presentation: 17 May

We're pleased to announce that we've arranged a presentation on Thursday 17 May to look at working with ArcGIS.

The presentation by our ESRI representative, Addy Pope, will cover:

  • An overview of the ESRI software available for teaching and research at University of York
  • Understanding the ArcGIS Platform (mobile, web, desktop, server)
  • Integrated GIS - Preparing Students for the workplace or research
    • Digital data capture in the field
    • Disseminating information through interactive GIS application
  • Swapping to ArcGIS Pro – future-proofing your students' skills to increase their employability

There'll be time for questions and discussion at the end of the presentation.

Refreshments will be available.
